This building toy is a gift for kids ages 8+ who love buildable ninja playsets, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. My friend Ben was the lucky recipient of this set, and we had an absolute blast putting it together. The NINJAGO temple is so detailed and the 6 included minifigures (like Kai and Nya) each come with 2 golden katanas. Talk about epic battles!
But what really sets this playset apart are the secret traps. From falling tree trunks to a plunging balcony, these hidden features add an extra level of excitement to playtime. I absolutely love the LEGO NINJAGO Kai’s Ninja Climber Mech Adventure Toy Set! As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect gift for my nephew, Jake. He’s always been a huge fan of ninjas and building sets, so this was a match made in toy heaven. When I gave it to him, his eyes lit up with excitement and he couldn’t wait to start building and playing with it. The posable mech figure and included ninja action figures provided endless entertainment for him. He even used the 2 large ninja hooks on the back of the mech to create epic climbing stories. And don’t get me started on the 5 minifigures – Kai and Lloyd with their katanas, Wyldfyre, Imperium Claw Hunter, and Lord Ras – they make this playset even more exciting. Plus, it’s perfect for kids aged 8+ who love ninja adventures. I can’t wait to get my hands on Sora’s Transforming Mech Bike Racer and Lloyd and Arin’s Ninja Team Mechs too.

I can’t wait to recreate all of the action from the NINJAGO Seabound TV series with my friends. Recently, my child has been obsessed with the Ninjago franchise and I came across the Ninjago Prelim Fire Temple set. After purchasing it and seeing my child’s excitement, I can confidently share my buying guide with other parents who are considering this set for their child.
Understanding the Set
The Ninjago Prelim Fire Temple set is based on the popular animated TV series, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. It includes 1174 pieces and features five minifigures – Kai, Zane, Nya, Garmadon, and Samukai. The main attraction of this set is the large fire temple structure which has a trapdoor, prison cells, and a dragon launchpad.
Age Appropriateness
